I Padrini di Antonello, a charitable 501c3 organization, is a small group of business professionals, “50 men”, who are community minded.
Our organization was formed and operates from Antonello’s Restaurant. We are all friends who meet to eat great food, drink some fabulous wine and find ways to raise money for our local children in need. Last year I Padrini di Antonello raised funds through our members and friends for a variety of local Orange County children’s charities. We do not give money directly to any organization; rather we address exactly what is needed. We partner with these organizations to fulfill special needs that do not receive state or federal aid. We are a completely volunteer organization with all funds raised going directly to our recipients.
Through our fundraising efforts we have recently purchased:
Auditory Trainers, IPads, Wheel Chairs, Leg Braces, Cochlear Implant Hearing Aids, Standard Hearing Aids, Summer Food Programs, 1000 Children’s Shoes and a Riding Therapy Horse including Boarding Care. The list goes on and on.
Our recent donations have gone to the following organizations:
· Seneca Family of Agencies, in many cases, the last hope for young people
· Speech & Language Development Center, caring for severely autistic children
· Pure Game, run by the Santa Ana District Attorney’s Office for at risk children
· Laura’s House, caring for abused children
· Kozy Toez, delivering shoes to children in need
· ACT Today, care and treatment for autistic children
· Best Day, serving children with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Blindness, Cancer, Spinal Cord Injuries, and other physical & developmental challenges
We are often the charity of last resort for these children whose needs would normally fall through the cracks.
Thank you for helping us Change a Child’s Life through your generous support.
CREST Education Center is a school and therapy center for students ages 5 years to 22 years with mild, moderate or severe disabilities, including those who fall within the Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Seneca Orange County is the Southern California branch of the statewide agency and incorporates the established programs of Kinship Center and Canyon Acres. More than 50,000 children in California are waiting for a safe home and a loving family that will be there for life.
Founded in 1976 in Santa Ana, Casa Teresa was envisioned as a home for pregnant women, over the age of 18, who were alone and had no support. At the time, there were very few resources or shelters specifically for single, pregnant women, and founders Neill and Sally Sullivan launched Casa Teresa as a four-unit building and cottage to meet the need.
Best Day Foundation enables children and young adults with special needs to build confidence and self-esteem through adventure activities which stretch their limits, expand their true potential, reinforce their achievement, & connect them with diverse populations in their community.
Pure Game creates programming for children that integrates a character education curriculum, leadership coaching, and sport. Our programs increase and encourage physical activity (aligned with public school physical activity standards), incentivizes attendance, introduces life skills, builds character, and helps children create a positive self-image.
Our mission is to ensure that all toes are protected, warm & kozy allowing every child the opportunity to focus on school rather than their worn out shoes. Our organization is committed to providing new shoes to children in our local communities. We physically reach out and hold the feet of each child in our hands, allowing us the opportunity to show each child love through a gift of new socks and shoes.
